We are back with an Artful Sunday for the month of July!
“Tatogami workshop”
This month we will explore the Japanese art of Paper Folding to create intriguing Puzzle purses. Puzzle purses or Tato date back to Japan’s Heian Era (782 -1185 AD) and were used by everyone from Housewives to Businessmen as portable storage for small items such as buttons, pins, stamps and clips. Today, Puzzle Purses still captivate the imagination, providing ways to present tokens of love, messages or unexpected treats.
Join us to spend 15-20min for a quick tutorial of this art form.
