We are back with an Artful Sunday for the month of June!
“Kachni style Madhubani art workshop”
This month we will explore the Kachni style of Madhubani art and will create a beautiful canvas depicting this art.
Kachni style of Madhubani painting uses detailed patterns and contrasting colours to depict traditional motifs inspired by nature creating beautiful compositions. Common subjects include animals, nature, geometric patterns and mythological stories. The Kachni style is different from the Bharni style which uses more bold and vibrant colours rather than patterns. Join us and discover a new art form!
Join us this Artful Sunday at 11 am for a quick tutorial of this art form. (We urge everyone to come at the same time for this workshop so that they can make full use of the 2 hours to complete the activity.)
